🚀 How It Works
Welcome to STEAM StartUp! Whether you are a teacher bringing science to life or a student exploring
interactive simulations, this guide will have you up and running in minutes.
1. Browse & Discover
Head over to the Simulator Library to explore our growing collection of
33 interactive simulators and 2 videos. Every simulator is
available in 7 languages, so you can learn in the language that suits you best.
- Filter by difficulty – pick Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced to match your level.
- Filter by subject – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and cross-domain topics.
- Search for a keyword if you know exactly what you need.
No account yet? No problem. You can browse the entire library freely. When you find something
interesting, just click the card to open the simulator and start experimenting.
2. Use Simulators
Every simulator runs right in your browser – no downloads, no installations. Once you open one,
you will find a clean workspace with interactive controls you can adjust in real time.
- Sliders – change values like temperature, speed, or concentration and watch the simulation respond instantly.
- Toggles & Switches – turn effects on/off, show or hide data overlays, or switch between views.
- Presets – jump-start an experiment with pre-configured setups that demonstrate key concepts.
- Reset – return the simulator to its starting state any time.
Experiment freely. Change a parameter, observe the result, change it again. That is the fastest
way to build intuition. All simulators are designed to be self-contained and classroom-friendly.
3. Full Screen & Plans
All simulators and videos are free to use in your browser. If you want an even more immersive
experience – especially for front-of-class demonstrations – you can switch to
Full Screen mode.
Full Screen mode is available with an Educator plan (powered by
Paid Memberships Pro). It removes browser chrome and lets
the simulator fill the entire display, perfect for projectors and interactive whiteboards.
Free accounts include:
- Unlimited browsing of the full Simulator Library
- Full interactivity on all 33 simulators (sliders, toggles, presets)
- Access to both videos
- Submit your own content for review
Create a free account to get started, or
upgrade to Educator
if you need Full Screen mode for your classroom.
🌍 Got something to share?
Registered users can submit their own simulators or videos for review.
We love seeing what the community creates – your work might appear in the library for everyone to use!
